Gukhs are small, gentle and dexterous creatures with an unusually long life span, which is why they were sometimes chosen and trained by Aughra to become her helpers. They hatch fully formed from eggs and slowly grow into full size. Their bodies are covered in fur, with the only bare areas being the tip of their tail and their tummy, which is shaped in a symmetrical form unique to each individual animal - the same form that appears on their egg shell. The horned spikes around the shoulder area protect their neck from predators and their long ears are very sensitive.
